"This is my home YMCA, and I love going here. They have a great pool as well as a steam room/sauna, which I love. My son plays basketball there, which is a blast. Also, their childwatch center is the best I've ever seen, with an amazing staff and an incredible playscape. Been a member of YMCA since I was a child, and this is one of my favorites anywhere!"

"For the amount we pay for a monthly family membership versus going to a cheaper 24/7 gym, I would expect them to still provide towels for the pool, locker rooms, and workout areas. The Hamilton Y used to provide all of these, but they no longer do AND increased their monthly pricing.. very frustrating and is bad customer service. The workout areas now use paper towels for machine maintenance which also creates a lot of waste. Part of the convenience of coming to the gym is to be able to utilize the indoor swimming pool and the showers after a workout. However, if you forget your towel then you miss out on that part of your membership. PLEASE BRING THE TOWELS BACK LIKE DOWNTOWN."

"Always well maintained. workout rooms are clean with all machines in good working condition. The employees are helpful, polite and ready to help you at any time you are there!"

"Some instructors are very rude. One instructor acts like a police officer when scanning memberships. I have already scanned, then went out to get something from my car, and she still asked me to scan the membership again. She never smiles when we cross paths, almost as if she doesn't see me. Another male instructor in the evening asked me why I was here, giving the impression that he doesn't want me to join his class. Since then, I haven't attended his class. Not all rooms are clean, especially the one in the back for yoga, which seems to be neglected in terms of cleanliness. The bathrooms need attention, especially the shower area, where it's challenging to adjust the water temperature and pressure. They strictly enforce payment rules; if you don't inform them one month in advance, they will put your membership on hold, and you'll have to pay in full. They offer convenience to new customers when joining but do not pay attention to existing memberships, raising the monthly fees."
