"I called this office yesterday to make an appt to see Dr. Carmichael. Before calling I verified with my health insurance provider that she was in network and took my insurance. When I called I was on hold for over 30 mins but I wanted to see this doctor due to her great reviews. The female that answered was very rude and stated we don’t take your health insurance. I asked if she was sure because I verified with my provider that they do. Her response was I’m positive. She didn’t check with anyone or verify it and had no interest in doing so. I then called my provider and they called the doctor’s office to advise they were in network. My provider spoke to the same rude lady and said I already told her we don’t take her health insurance. I’ve never had such a horrible experience with a provider over the phone. I’m sure Dr. Carmichael is great but her staff is horrible."
