"I'm not used to feeling like a project to complete. Melanie Emory, NP was amazing and provided the type of experience I'm accustomed to when visiting an OB/GYN so that’s why there’s at least one star (I don’t think she’s there all the time though because there was another NP there on my first visit). I was a new patient at this office and had high expectations. The front office staff was unwelcoming on my 1st visit and I started to leave. They have changed the receptionists so it’s a bit better now. I had to call and follow up on my own lab results since no one called to notify me whether they were normal or not. Also, I had to tell the ultrasound tech why I needed an ultrasound because there were no notes provided…smh. Moreover, if they don’t like your score on the feedback survey, you may receive a call at home by a staff member aggressively asking why you selected a particular score. This is highly unacceptable, unprofessional and should never happen again. I happened to have an appointment that same day and I heard the guy that called me aggressively in the front office and back office speaking negatively about me. Wanting to approach me, I assume for an explanation. The front office clerk and Dr Gertrude stopped him from approaching me. Yes... I heard it all and will be changing doctors. I am making this experience publicly known because of that threatening phone call and unprofessionalism! I will report this experience to St. Theresa’s leadership team and my medical carrier. Furthermore, me and several other patients (per scheduling) received text messages that we had canceled our appointments which wasn't true. I think it was intentionally sent to avoid receiving additional low ratings. Skewing the numbers! Ultimately, I'm highly disappointed. I’m not disgruntled, simply offended by the service received. According to other commenters, It appears that I was lucky to have met Dr Gertrude. If you prefer to see the M.D. and not a Nurse Practitioner and receive prompt lab results…this is not the office for you."

"Worst experience ever! I waited over an hour to see her only for her to be in the room for 9 minutes. I’m a new expecting mother I am now 30 weeks and she does not provide any information. She had never even gone over the basics of what I should not be eating….RUN!!!!"

"I feel it's mallpractice plain and simple. Im handicapped, and I was denied an exam after going through pain to try and get "prepared" for an obgyn to examine me. Doctor leaves the room saying I have taken up too much of her time. Extremely unprofessional, and thank you for watching me in my wheelchair as I try to open the door myself and wheel out. Couldn't hold a door for a patient? Says she would give me a referral for mammogram, said she would renew a existing prescription - the referral was not processed, and the prescription was not renewed, she lied."
