"Unfortunately, I’m unable to give a positive review because I was denied my appointment today at the Alpharetta location due to lateness a few minutes after the late period time. I was unable to leave work early and ended up stuck in traffic, which caused me to be about 18 minutes late. It took almost an hour for me to get there due to the traffic. Normally I’m on time to appointments but today, maybe because it was a Friday, traffic was terrible. I called the office on the way there and informed them that I was running late and apologized for the inconvenience of the tardiness. My mom was also going to come to the appointment for moral support and she got there a few minutes before me and tried to help speed up the sign in process for me. But reception told her that only I could sign in as the patient, which we understood. When I got there, I rushed to the sign in area, out of breath, tired, and spoke with the receptionist. She was very kind, and called the Dr. But a few moments later, she told me that the Dr said no, and that I’d need to reschedule. I felt let down and discouraged and also felt bad because my mom had driven far to come out as well; very disappointed as I’ve never experienced such treatment from a dr, even after communicating with the office about my whereabouts. I would’ve appreciated a better experience with this Dr. I feel that if a patient has traveled far, and they’ve had the decency to at least call to let you know they’re running late, that you should at least see them, even if for one minute. The receptionist was very sweet and I appreciate her help, as she did try to get me in. But overall, my experience was not good here due to lack of care from the Dr."
