"I've been going to this office for many years and at my most recent appointment, I was disturbed by multiple things. I'll start by saying that Dr. Delahanty is outgoing and competent and the office staff were friendly. I am working through multiple health concerns with doctors, both conventional and functional. I mentioned that I also go to a functional medicine practice and I could feel her judgement and disagreement through her tone and questions she asked about it. I'm not looking for judgement from a doctor that I'll only be able to spend 10 minutes with. I expressed the health concerns I am working through and she offered no help, education, or guidance, other than to say she could prescribe weight loss meds. I did not feel heard or cared about by her. Secondly, during my exam on the table, the door opens and a nurse (I'm guessing) walks in. I've never had that happen during an exam and it was very unsettling. I was in a very vulnerable position and it felt violating to have someone just walk in while I was being examined. No introduction or anything. Overall, I did not feel cared about as a person during my visit. The doctor spent maybe 10 mins with me and it felt rushed and impersonal."

"I’m really just disappointed as I had been a happy patient of Dr Delahanty for a very long time. She’s seen me through so much and was my first gynecologist and I continued to follow her from office to office for any of my appointments as they relocated. However I started presenting with pain years ago and was treated as if I was fine. Finally I pushed hard enough and was told “fine I’ll do the surgery” in reference to an endometriosis diagnosis. The way she continued the conversation about my post surgery meds made me realize she wasn’t convinced I needed the surgery but that I was looking for medications. I was in and out of the hospital for months not knowing what was happening and it didn’t seem to be cause for concern for her. I chose to get a second opinion from another very different Dr and after discussing what else could be on the table causing the pain he decided the surgery was the best option. Turns out I had a large concentration of endo behind my uterus, my uterus itself isn’t healthy and I needed an emergency appendectomy while I was on the table. I’m just disappointed as I had sent people to see her because I was so pleased with her treatment. I just wish I hadn’t gone through this pain for years with a Dr who didn’t take me seriously. I realize there is a need for caution with everything going on today but I know I wouldn’t have been confident walking in to that OR if she was my surgeon and not believing me when I told her what was happening. Instead I had a man who was willing to invest time and trust in to me as a patient and was able to find the source of my pain instead of tossing meds at the problem or making me feel like less of a person. I know this may not fix everything but at-least now I know something and furthermore didn’t have to wait for my appendix to burst to have that taken care of. I want to make it clear that I wouldn’t NOT recommend her as I believe she is a very competent Dr, however if you feel like maybe your instincts about your body are being brushed off I would recommend seeing someone else before you too blow it off. It might save you some time and some pain in the long run."

"Could NOT be happier with my experience here. First new Gynecologist I’ve see in ten years and she made the visit so comfortable, reassuring and I left feeling better than when I went in. Dr. Delahanty is professional and sincere in the most genuine way. I can’t say enough great things about her. The front office was great, they were timely, kind and everyone there was just so fantastic. 12/10 recommend Roswell OBGYN and Dr. Delahanty!!"

"I have never felt more disrespected and treated so poorly as I did in this office. We have 3 children but none are biological and the doctor looked at me point blank, in an bored voice, "Why do you want more?" I tried to speak to the office manager about my experience, hoping to see another doctor in the office. They canceled two appointments. One two hours before I was to be seen. Apparently their office is closing in May. Good riddance. I would never recommend this doctor's office to anyone. They are rude, condescending and unprofessional."

"I absolutely love this office. They are kind and compassionate, and the atmosphere is more spa-like, rather than a cold doctor's office. I highly recommend their office, and especially the nurse practitioner, Megan. She's fantastic, and actually talks to you to get to know you, rather than a five second "Hi, how ya doin', I need you to put your feet into the stirrups." ;)"
