"In 2006, this OBGYN performed a routine c-section on a 18 year old mother however this physician neglected to send the new mother home with proper care and recovery. Less than 24hrs after being sent home from c-section, the new mother began to become weak while laying in bed...an order of death began to come from her body (per another family member in the house in another room). After being rushed to the hospital and receiving emergency surgery. The new mother was informed after waking up from surgery that she had a life threatening infection that begun right after the c-section in the uterus and almost spread to other organs. To save her life, her uterus was removed during the surgery and she will never be able to have any more children again. This was extremely devesting to the teen and she's been struggling to live a normal, healthy, natural (woman's) since then. She is now 33 and in therapy. The physician was sadly never sued for malpractice due statue of limitation and protection of the Hospital. This particular hospital (although their name has changed) has always been known in our community for years as the "killer hospital" due to so many preventable deaths that occurred over the years at this hospital. Even with this being said and the facility, unfortunately, still standing with no better option in the area. It should never be okay for a physician to lack of knowledge, experience, concern or care for their patient. It should never be acceptable for a physician to continue to practice after knowingly neglecting and costing their patient an eternity of mental and emotional distress for the remainder of their adult life. May God Bless you and prevent you from causing anymore grief in other's lives. People of the world, please remember that the physicians are practicing on US. They don't get it right all the time, but costing someone their future life or what it could've been just isn't right. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how many kids I could have birth, loved and cared for had I been sent home properly with the proper care. Please stay aware!"
