"I just recently had my baby at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center and I can’t tell you just how appreciative I am of all the nurses who cared for me. They truly made my extended hospital stay as comfortable as it could be and were super compassionate, understanding."
"This experience was horrible and I wasn’t even able to get a doctors note for work due to my accident! Y’all send a 6 month pregnant woman home after a hard fall with NOTHING. 0/10 do not recommend."
"Oh my gosh I don’t know where to begin. I am a FTM and just had my baby last Saturday at Atrium. From the triage nurses, to the labor and delivery nurses, the mother and baby nurses, lactation consultants, and everyone in between, I could not have asked for a better experience. Every single employee here has angel wings. I am eternally grateful for each and every one of them! I look forward to my next time around with Atrium, knowing that I’m in such great hands."
"Policy says that no sibling visit for child birth. They say it's for covid. Yet it's 2022 and people in the hospital including staff walk around without properly wearing the masks. For nucleus family like mine with a second child coming, this policy means that either the bigger kid goes without seeing their parent for two days or the mom gives birth alone without family support. Every kid deserves to see their parents every day. And every woman deserves family support by her side when giving birth. My wife and I called the management team 4 times, once per week for a month and eventually they changed the policy. This is great news and some of them still care. However we found out that they only allow sibling post partum. I bet the people make the rule has the luxury to find reliable child care whenever they need. Good for them."
"The best care, the most compassionate nurses. We had a wonderful delivery experience at Floyd medical center family birth center. I ended up having to stay an extra week after delivery for post partum PE and they treated us so so kindly. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and highly skilled. I would recommend anyone in the Northwest Georgia area who is pregnant to have their delivery here at Floyd."
