"I stumbled across this place scrolling on IG and felt like I really needed to try it. I was not disappointed! This place is a little slice of South America in the heart of Jacksonville. I ordered "La Morena" off the secret menu and it was absolutely amazing. My Colombian wife is going to be mad that I came here without her, so I'll probably be back this weekend with her. I don't want to listen to her complain that i was eating Arepas without her. I'll update my review with more pictures when I do... Definitely worth a stop and will definitely be a part of my lunch time rotation when I'm at work..."
"This is a great stop by the river in Jacksonville. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious!! We ordered 2 Areapas (The peblleno and the Jax blonde), and they did not disappoint. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely stop again and try a few more. The green side sauce (Avocado? Cilantro? Idk..) but it was also awsome!! We also had the fresh blackberry juice which tasted great, was refreshing after a long walk and complimented the food as well."
"This place was sooo good! My husband and I loved it! We stopped by on our way back home to GA. The moment we walked in we were acknowledged and helped on what we wanted to eat since it was our first time. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. We loved it so much, we both bought a hat with the name on it lol. The only downfall are the high chairs near the window. They weren't comfortable by any means but that's nothing since there's plenty of seating. We will be back next time we're in town!"
"I ordered online and had to wait about 10 minutes when I got there at the estimated time. Cute place, artsy on the outside and inside. Staff was nice, parking was full. My arepa was good but there was WAY more avocado than meat. Everything was fresh and hot. I also got their cheese sticks - basically pillsbury dough around cheese. Not bad, not good - came with "pink" sauce (so you know, it's exactly 1000 island dressing, the same sauce for reubens) and a green sauce. Neither paired well with the cheese sticks. No bad experience but I'm not eager to return."
"It's a charming locally owned business. Nice and vibrant interior. Authentic Venezuelan food. The portions were generous. Had The Queen. It was like a chicken salad sandwich. Arepa had a nice flavor and aroma. Chicken was a tad salty and I couldn't really taste any cilantro in the sauce, but it was a nice and filling lunch otherwise. I have to come back and try the other flavors."
