"If u have insurance with this company dont expect to have any kind of a relationship with this company. I believe they are mostly for mexican ppl. They dont give u a quote on a new vehicle to add to ur policy. They dont keep their word and call u back. Its ridiculous. Insurance as a whole is ridiculous now days."
"This is not GOOD!!!! Why can't I speak to my Adjuster, only get text messages. Say check was sent, called dealership collision department...NO INFO FOR ME NOR MY CAR!! Can't take my car in until 2/14. I have car rental only to pay out the pocket and be reimbursed. This is a major inconvenience!! After dealing with the Headache of a Claim I will be looking into another insurance company."
"I've had this company since 2019. They are refusing to renew my policy on a nissan sentra because somehow it is out range in a point system they do. Pretty much if I wreck it it's gonna be really expensive to fix and they don't want to risk having to pay for it. SMH."
"Worst experience of my life. I feel like they played me knowing this was my first time dealing with an insurance company. I would recommend anybody who has to deal with them to get a lawyer because they will low ball you.They are very unprofessional the lady who was over my personal claim did not know the answer to any of my questions. And because i was so nice they took me as gullible so learn from this review and dont let them sell you anything. Then my car was not fixable according to them even tho all I probably needed was a new door so they total loss it because they did not want to deal with the cosmetic of my car. I could not necessarily give them the title of my car because i did not have the funds to buy a new car becasue i recently just graduated from college and the lady i had to deal with was very rude and caught an attitude anytime i had a question about anything that didn't sound right so to avoid conflict I just let it slide but for anyone who has to deal with them because one of their insured hit you find a lawyer that will help you navigate the system for you."
"My car was totaled by way of one of Safeway insurers and my experience with this company has been the absolute worse. To start, it took them a month to get things moving. My self and my attorney called, emailed, sent letters and could never get anyone to assist. The secretary would answer, forward you to someone and that persons phone would go straight to voicemail, even the manager. When we finally got in touch with someone they only gave me $200 for a rental car and at this point I’ve been out of a vehicle for nearly a month. They told me that I would be responsible for holding fees at the tow yard despite the reason it being there for so long was because they were unresponsive. $140 was deducted from my settlement to cover my car loan because of this. They also deducted $1200 because of the condition of my car, which was their insurers fault. Mind you, the car is totaled, the condition of my car shouldn’t matter because it’d be sold for parts at best. They also deducted another $150 because of a missing key which they never asked for. I could’ve mailed it had they mentioned it. I now have about $1500 left on my car loan because Safeway is charging me for things they should be covering as the AT FAULT insurance party. Also, the insured has more than enough coverage to pay off my remaining loan, however they short changed me and gave me about $4000 less than that ON TOP of deducting $1500 for things that they should be covering. Now nearly 4 months later I am having the same issue getting in contact with adjusters to fix this absurd issue. If you get hit by someone with Safeway please have a great lawyer!"
