"They tried to offer me less than $9/hr to weld production with 12 years experience (2018) and their demeanor was that they were trying to talk me into it, but irritated when I turned the job down. Very unprofessional company, they seemed to think it was some kind of joke and it was insulting. The interviewer didn't want to shake my hand when I left. I found this company on Google 4 yrs later just to leave this review. Look elsewhere."

"Although I have never been to any facility of Vulcraft/Nucor, My son (Alex Smith) works in the New York plant and has been for about two years now. I hear a lot of great opportunities with awesome benefits and great work ethics. He tells me almost daily about his day and what the accomplishments get done. I know he gets excited when there are orders that come in because he says he feels proud that he can be on a team that produces the joists. I myself have always been in sales along with Retail management as store manager and assistant to district manager, but I also owned my business as a wholesale distributor in the exhaust industry.
