"The food was good! I was uncertain about coming back after the ownership change and all of the negative reviews. They may have had some troubles, but it seems to me like they have overcome them. The wait staff was attentive and very personable. Me and my wife split a Greek salad and ordered a pizza (NY style, not the Sicilian). The salad was good, the pizza was decent It's hard to find good pizza in this area from what I've seen so far. It wasn't mind blowing, but better than a chain. I'll definitely return."

"First off, it's absurd that Google is allowing them to use the reviews for E.J's even though it's a different name/ownership. I'll be contacting Google about this. They shouldn't be allowed to keep the reviews as they are VERY misleading. Don't be fooled, this is NOT the same restaurant and completely different. This particular business seems to be a huge fan of cutting costs! When we first called and asked about delivery, the lady who answred the phone had no customer service skills at all. "Do you deliver?" "No, bye." So after thinking on it, we decided to give them a go after seeing a news story about the owner. The crust appeared to be pre-made and maybe frozen due to the small drill-like holes that only a machine could produce. Instead of pizza sauce it was like a terribly bland spaghetti sauce that tasted like a can. QThe cheese quality is an abomination and resembles what you would get with a DCPS school slice of pizza plus it's horrendously greasy! Such a huge disappointment and really makes my family miss E.J's pizza even more. I know it's not the "same" business, but we didn't expect it to be this bad! The take home pizzas that you you get from Walmart and heat up yourself are a better quality! Saturday night and only ONE person in the whole restaurant at 7pm. Yikes. $43.10 for a large pep with extra cheese and a medium cheese extra cheese."

"My uncle and I have been trying different local pizza joints to find our new favorite since our old favorite closed. Based on reviews we tried EJ's and all I can say is where in the world is the sauce? Our deluxe pizza hardly had any on it and the single cheese slice that my husband got when he went into grab our order was similar..... Hardly any sauce. And and toppings were lacking, Way too much space between the crust and where the toppings actually started on about half the pizza. The tiramisu that I paid a pretty penny for was tiny. Smallest one I've ever gotten from anywhere. It was delicious but just really small and expensive for the portion that was given. Anyways that's just my experience. Our search continues."

"This was my second time here and I just love this place. The owner purchased decorations from an Arlington staple that closed, Nero's, so when you walk in, you feel at home. The owner checked on us a couple of times and you do not get that kind of service from an owner very often. Our server, Lamisse, was so sweet and on top of her game. Not only is the atmosphere and service great, but the food is delicious. I've only had the pizza, but I've heard the spaghetti and meatballs are delicious too."
