Bridge of Columbus Inc

Bridge of Columbus Inc is a secondary school located at 2601 Cross Country Drive in Columbus, Georgia. Our institution offers two terms per year, with Term 1 starting in January and Term 2 beginning in August. Students who successfully complete their GED program can participate in a special graduation ceremony at the end of each term.

We have rolling enrollment, allowing students to join the GED program multiple times within the two terms. New students can start on the first Monday of each month, and we welcome individuals between the ages of 18 – 30 from various counties in Georgia and Alabama.

During enrollment, students take the TABE assessment to determine their knowledge in reading and math, helping our instructors tailor a pathway to success in earning their GED. Classes are held in 3-hour blocks, four days a week, with morning and afternoon sessions available for flexibility.

Our small class sizes allow for personalized instruction, with a Math Tutor on-site for additional support. We offer coaching, resources, and supportive services to help students overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Transportation assistance is provided on exam days, and life skills classes are offered weekly to enhance everyday living skills.

After graduation, our Job Development Coach assists graduates with further training programs, college entry, job opportunities, and more. Bridge of Columbus Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering students for success, thanks to our committed board, volunteers, instructors, and staff.
