"My son attended Cafi Head Start in Greenville,GA when he was 3 and 4 years old. There were occasions when my son would cry every morning when he didn't want to go to school. I contributed his crying to him wanting to stay home because he was an only child. At the age of 3, he told me that one of his teachers pinched him and threw him into his chair. I asked his teacher about the incident and she denied it. He never mentioned that behavior from his teacher again until tonight. The EXACT thing that he told me when he was 3 years old is the EXACT same thing he told me tonight and he is now 10 years old. I am so upset that I didn't report what my son told me when he was 3 years old. I know that my son wasn't the only child that was mistreated by a teacher at this place. Parents, I'm asking each and every one of you to have a conversation with you child/children whether they are currently attending Cafi Head Start or they attended in previous years. Please ask your child if he or she were/are mistreated in any way. I was so shocked when my son retold me what happened to him. I feel like such a failure as a parent. I can't rest until I get to the bottom of this!!!! PARENTS PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN!!!!!!!!"
