"I was extremely disappointed when I asked for Alice Cooper at the front desk and they said that she didn’t work there, an obvious lie! So instead I decided to look for Miss Grundy (i really need help with my music...) but I found out that she had been fired! Honestly the school has just went completely downhill since the death of Jason Blossom."
"If your child needs no help staying focused and can tune out the foolishness, they'll be fine. But if your child needs help, any type of help, from the staff at Riverdale High School, please find arrangements for them to attend another school. No shade...just facts. Stop by as a visitor, unannounced, and my review will be confirmed."
"The worst school ever the staff is very unorganized. The kids don't get the help that they need ! Yet alone, the school has been without air since school started in August. They want parents to attend ptos and etc.... meetings in these type of conditions which makes no sense. They expect for the kids to learn sweating in heat which is unacceptable. The staff, not professional at all do not send your kids to this school it is by far the worst school in Georgia!!!!!!!"
"The death of Jason Blossom really sent this school on a path for the worst. Mrs Grundy was my favorite music teacher but she sadly left. I have had some good experiences here but this school is just going down a dark path."
"I attended the year this school opened in 1977-late 1978. This was only the second non-DOD (Department of Defense) school I had ever attended. I may have been the only military brat there. The school was populated with kids who had been together since elementary school or before and they had no tolerance for any outsiders. The school was cliquish, and hated diversity in any form. The parents and teachers were even more aloof, long time district children were given the green light whilst the few new-comers were ostracized. Worst educational experience of my life."
