"Our experience at this school was like riding a roller coaster at Six Flags where usually you are off good but it was a rough start. Communication is a 0 out of 5 when we first started. Knowing that we had a child on an IEP they assured me that they had the resources to work with it. They don't. After notifying the school several weeks it took him having an incident before they began communicating with us. His year was full of communication when he did something bad. Overall the school has a lot of growing to go for both their school and working with the community. Although my son has left the school we inquired about reenrolling him and filled out the application but to no surprise they have not communicated with us about this. We have invited them to many community events, no response, but then they want to participate in their school fundraiser but when you seek their assistance to give back to the community...Crickets. Its sad because the school's name is derived from the Sorority despite what the history says and I would've expected more coming from a Delta. Best wishes and success but a little power control problem and when other teachers leave and say I wouldn't even send my child there, that screams red flags."

I was so glad to find them because I didn't want my daughter to have to attend a regular public school where sometimes kids aren't challenged and given that individualized attention they deserve. Their focus on the children's academics are great. Principal & Founder Nikki Grier and her staff are great people and I trust that they have the best intentions for my daughter and all the children of D.E.L.TA. STEAM Academy. I would recommend this school to anyone that wants the best education and experience for their child(ren). Keep up the great work!"
