I am currently at Georgia Tech for Mechanical Engineering, and I still find myself missing the workshop and teachers at Lithia. Class of 2017."

"Recently a teacher was caught on camera unnecessarily and excessively choking my little sister who was ONLY trying to defend herself during an attack at school happening to her friend.. the video shows another young lady trying to help her. she was suspended too. I'm going to keep searching for answers and a solution to this issue until i get one because they have yet to provide a logical reason for their actions..."

"Lithia Springs is a great school. I graduated from here, class of 2k15. We were the best class ever. Lol but yeah I enjoyed it here , coming from the schools in Atlanta , always having to fight and stuff. I appreciate the time spent. Helping me and my sister make it outta here. She just graduated this yeah 2017 from another school. She attended Lithia for 2 years as well. I love Lithia. Period!!"

"Lithia Springs High School is not a bad place. Of all things, its the specific actions of the people there that give it a bad image. The ones that commit said actions wouldn't think twice before blaming the school for it either. Lithia Springs High School is not a bad place. Yes, the football team struggles. Yes, the administration is tight. Yes, some of the teachers aren't as welcoming as we want them to be. Yes, some of the required classes at the school may not be something that you think you will need in the future. HOWEVER, keep in mind that no school is perfect and we all go through some hiccups. Lithia Springs High School is not a bad place. Succeed or fail, the teachers try their hardest pass on valuable information. The custodial staff do their best to clean up after us. The lunch staff cooks and serves food all while putting up with any negative comment they get. The administration is only as tight as they are because of what has happened in the past...not because they dislike the students. If the students or anyone of the school still have an issue, they have to put matters into their own hands instead of complaining all the time. Lithia Springs High School is not a bad place."

"Horrible. The teachers don't care about the students at all...their only concern is getting their 8 hours in and their pay check every two weeks. Also administration is overly strict...the school feels like a prison environment. One student was low key bullied by a teacher and administration did nothing until parents got involved. A lot of fights happen there as well, due to the negative environment. If the environment was more positive( from administration down to teachers and staff) then the students would feel more welcomed and at ease. The building is also out dated and very dirty tbh. There are no windows in the school, resulting in a dark, dreary and unwelcoming place. The bathrooms have broken down stalls, and old fashioned tub sinks(basically you have to press your foot down on a lever to enable water to come out). The classrooms have paint peeling off the walls as well. On the positive side they do have a stem program that a handful of students are apart of. But lithia is the only stem school in Douglas county(which has about 5 high schools in total)...so since they are the only stem school you would think that students from other districts would come to Lithia to be involved in stem but sadly none come bc the school isn't a positive school.Overall, I think any student in attendance at this school would take the first opportunity to transfer to a different school."
