"Communication amongst administrators and counselors are horrible. Principal Bates is the absolutely worst at communicating with parents and her counseling staff follows suit. The school appears to care more about athletics than academics. There are a few great teachers there, but their caring is overshadowed by Principal Bates and her inability to take control of her school and force her administrators/counselors and some teachers to communicate with parents. If I had to do it all over again, I would have moved to Alabama and took my chances there."

"This school is garbage. They give you a hard time getting your kids in school. My child has missed 2 weeks of school because they won't accept documents that clearly has our address on it. I'm trying to figure out why give someone a hard time for putting there kids in school when the rest room are down right nasty and disgusting. And everyone that is rating this school as well as staff with 3 or better stars are lying these people don't want to help they give you numbers that staff don't even pick up the phone."

Students earned acceptances to a number of prestigious schools including Harvard, Stanford, Duke University, University of Pennsylvania, Brown University, Dartmouth College, University of Southern California, Boston University and many others."

"My overall experience is ok. But I wish it something different though. There is so many fights thru out the week, and everytime I enter the classroom it smell like weed or drugs. It mostly black there, I only saw one white student there that all. Of course we won the 2016 State Championship Basketball. I would attend this again, but I wish it was different in da school. My family live in Princeton Lakes Atlanta, GA BIG HOUSES. Am currently a Junior. CLASS OF 2017"

"i attend westlake . my first year was also Dr.Rivera's first year. I think the school is pretty safe, well safe as it could be. They have like HD cameras , officers in every section of the building. There are restricted areas where students aren't allowed to be and i also heard that every time a door, that isn't the front, is opened , FCBOE is alerted. (im not sure how true that is) . Westlake has good food , good atmosphere. I wouldn't mind graduating here . CLASS OF 2015 . lol You cant judge a school by its students. Focus on its staff"
