"We have danced at Dance Works for years, after having tried other local studios. At Dance Works, they focus on performance skills as well as technique. The instructors are friendly, and the owner is firm, but fair. Dancers are required to sign contracts, but everyone knows what is expected up front, and there are no surprise fees. For prices similar to those in the area, we've been very pleased with what is offered. They have programs that no one else does."
"Dance Works is a great studio that offers a wide range of classes, and is suited for boys as well as girls. Their instructors have extensive backgrounds in dance, making them qualified to teach. They are the only studio in Rome offering competition, modeling, workshop, and audition opportunities for their students. This is the best place to go in Rome!"
"Definitely the best dance studio in Rome, Ga. Mrs. Emily and all of her other instructors are absolutely great with the children and truly care. Also being the ONLY COMPETITIVE STUDIO IN ROME they provide a great education for the kids that will allow them to grow in their dance career if they desire to do so. I would not hesitate to recommend the studio to anyone that wanted a great dance education at a very reasonable price."
"Dance Works is a great studio. My daughter has been taking dance from Dance Works for the last few years and loves it. The studio is affordable and the dancers get a lot of individual attention. The instructors are always pushing the dancers to learn more and be better. The fees are very reasonable and are disclosed at registration so you know what to expect. Dance Works only does one recital a year, which saves on costume fees. It also allows the teachers more time to teach dance technique instead of having to focus on performance choreography for the majority of the year. Dance Works does offer a competitive dance team, but it is optional. Dancers can choose which combination of classes they want to take. The studio is in a great location on Broad Street and it is easy to get to. There is a comfortable, spacious area with couches and tables where parents can wait during classes or the kids can work on homework between classes."
"I am a competitive dancer at Dance Works of Rome and this is my fourth year at the studio! The kind of education and friendships I have gained from this studio are definitely the best in rome! While being at this studio I have received the opportunity to attend a workshop with Ted Laney, a professional dancer who has traveled around the world performing, and I have been taught by Mrs. Emily to be prepared for anything at an audition which was very helpful for my audition in the Floyd county school wide musical. If you want your child to develop life long friendships, have amazing workshop and audition opportunities, and recieve an amazing dance education then Dance Works of Rome is the studio for your child!"
