"I strongly advise you to investigate this company's legal issues regarding their treatment of both children and staff. The owner shows little regard for the well-being of the employees, let alone the children they are supposed to serve. In this environment, staff members frequently engage in inappropriate conversations about their colleagues. There have been instances where therapists have behaved improperly by either physically mistreating the children or touching them inappropriately. Additionally, the staff often neglects their duties by excessively using personal devices, such as phones, or gossiping among themselves and having their kid on the ipad all day. While there are a few commendable individuals working there, it wouldn't be surprising if they choose to leave as well. I recommend checking the reviews on Indeed for more insight on what the previous staff have to say. Ultimately, the decision to entrust your child in their care is yours, not mine. I just worked there."

"I only worked 2 days at the company, before the company’s owner Matt fired me for dubious reasons. Nothing special or unique about this company. The company provides the same services that all the other companies providing ABA services. Sad, the one thing that his company and the majority of the companies providing ABA services are not doing is instructing their clients to be able to function in the real world. Matt’s clients were confined in tiny cubicles like rats in a Skinner Box! And yes you BCBA’s at Academy ABA with only a B. S. in Psychology I know what a Skinner Box is. The BCBA’s get all the bread, and the RBT’s get crumbs. Why companies providing ABA services think that 30 hours is full time for RBT’s is full time is beyond me. Wait I do know. The BCBA’s have to get paid."
