"I never leave reviews, but this service was so unbelievably bad that I had to. I would leave no stars if I could. Absolutely do not go here. The communication was almost nonexistent and absolutely nothing was dealt with in a timely manner. I dropped my taxes off 4 weeks before the deadline (April 2023), never received a call back to update me on the status or to ask me questions. During this period my old CPA called and said he could get them done the same week as the deadline. After almost a week of calling the office and only getting through to the secretary, I was finally able to talk to the CPA on the day of the tax deadline where I was told that he 'hadn't really gotten a chance to look over my taxes but thinks I owe X amount'. I gave him my banking information to make the payment and agreed to allow him to file an extension to take the time he needed to look over everything. Fast forward a month (May 2023) and I have had absolutely no contact with the office outside of the secretary (again), despite calling for two weeks trying to reach someone. I finally was given an email where I made clear I was not happy with the service. That email was never replied to, but I received a phone call a week after the email was submitted saying that my taxes were ready to be picked up. After picking them up I made the final payments (his previous estimated was wrong) and I thought that this nightmare was over. But unfortunately, I was wrong. We never received our state return and after calling both the IRS and the state tax department I was told that our taxes were never actually filed or processed. After calling the office for multiple days, I finally was able to have a conversation where I was told that it was a 'hiccup in the system' that had never happened before. I was assured that it was taken care of and that everything was fine. But I was incorrect again. Fast forward to SEPTEMBER 2023 I still hadn’t received my state tax refund and decided the check the IRS as well to make sure that they had actually been submitted, where to my surprise it said I owed almost $650! After calling the office I find out that back in May when I shared my banking information with them, that they never actually submitted the payment like they said they were going to. He offered to cover, the amount that was different ($24) than the estimated amount provided on my tax return. Honestly, I should have asked that the entire $650 be covered by them since it was their fault the payment wasn’t submitted, but I was so put out with dealing with this office that I made the payment to the IRS and called it good. It only took 5 months, but my taxes for the year are finally finished. Absolutely ridiculous process, I do not recommend this CPA to anyone."
