"My rating is not based on the quality of the daycare, however to promote and maintain your brand, you must ensure you DEMAND quality, EXPECT quality, PROMOTE qualty, and REPRESENT quality. Several hours ago I was scheduled to interview for the position of PreK Lead Teacher under the GA PreK Lottery division. I was somewhat frustrsted after standing in the cold for nearly five minutes as a decision was pondered whether to allow me entrance without a face mask. I was not told when scheduling an interview this facility still followed a mask mandate... i was finally given a kid's mask. Trust me, I understand safety first, it was just the manner in which it was handled I was then asked to fill out an application. I explained again I was there for an interview and had already completed this process. The Hispanic lady (same person who answered door) seemed a bit confused and not well-versed in handling :the front of the house". Once again she went into a closed office door, returned, and asked me to complete appication. I explained my position was under the GDOE as a certified educator and I had already satisfied this tak. She went back into the office, this time a Black women came forth and told me my resume was online. Her tone was not friendly nor did she offer an explanation. It was more in the tone of, "Do as I say". I have a very low tolerance for unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful behavior, especially in certsin atmospheres (education, medical, geriatric). I then stated, "i am no longer interested in this positionn.". The Black lady then opened the door and said, "You can leave MY premises." It may be questioned as to why I used race to identify both parties: 1. I was never properly introduced. Noone asked my name, what position I was applying for...nothing to make me feel welomed. 2. Based on reviews I read, I believe I encountered the same rude person. I was excited about this position and had already planned an extravagant and fun Valentines Day for my prospective class. Parents, do not expect anything less for your child because I carry the same torch for my students. As a teacher who has experience in public school and private school, I have high standards...no exceptions."
"Currently looking for a daycare to take my son. I called today (2/8/24) to see if they have an opening in the infant room and they did. Everything sounded perfect until I was told I could not do a tour of the building and I would not be able to come in to drop off my son. The only time I could enter is when I came to pick him up in the evening. Not saying this not a good daycare to choose but as a first time mom it makes it hard to trust that I am selecting the best daycare when I am unable to see what is going on inside."
"I would NEVER bring my child here after hearing about this place. I SAW a teacher taking a child OUT OF THE WINDOW on my way to register my child and i turned my car around and went on my merry way. I’ve heard management was TERRIBLE from other mom friends, i’ve heard that management is unfair, rude and nasty with attitude towards parents and staff. If i could rate this place 0 stars, i would. PLEASE keep your children away from here and keep them safe from these nasty people!"
"My husband & I decided to enroll our oldest thru the GA PreK Program (it’s free). I spoke with Mrs. Marika initially who was friendly but when it came time to pick up the forms, I met a different black woman who was not friendly AT ALL. I went a second time to take the paperwork back as they requested and the same woman (never got her name) was again, not friendly. I went a 3rd time, same experience. This time this woman waved her hand in a shoo’ing motion after I asked her when would we be informed about supplies, open house, start date, etc. She was rude and seemed too busy to even assist stating, “They gone email y’all. You’ll get 3 emails. You won’t miss it.” She made me feel as if I was bothering her. I tried to be understanding but after 3 bad experiences, we decided that we would rather pay for private school than have our child in a facility that treated ADULTS this way. I understand that people have bad days but not on every in person occasion. I can only imagine how these babies are being treated. I called 7/27 (Thursday) to have him withdrawn from the program. I spoke with Marika again and she was polite. I heard afterwards through another parent that Open House was actually Tuesday (7/25), so we had missed it anyways and had not received an email, postcard, phone call, NOTHING! This shows that this place is unorganized and the staff may need more training because there is no reason to be rude and unwelcoming. Parents, do your research. Check out these Facebook groups. The locals warned me about this facility but I wanted to give it a try. I honestly should have listened to them. Ratings don’t lie."
