"This is the first and only school my child has attended since moving to Columbus. She was granted a hardship to attend RRLA. In her first year attending second grade, she was an A & B student. This year my child is having trouble with math. What I discovered about her is that she did not grasp some of the basics. She has As & Bs in everything except math. Reese Road has denied my child attending their school for the 22-23 school year. Why, when they have failed her? As long as she could make them look good, statistically, she was accepted. Now they're kicking her out! Disregarding HELPING my child and ignoring the emotional impact this could have on her."

"Not a very welcoming school, being a military family we've dealt with our fair share of schools, one child has a nice teacher just not personable towards us (the parents) my other child not so much, I like getting messages about said teacher being concerned with what fun we are having at home, that my child always wants to come back home, instead of being concerned that my child obviously does not feel welcome in her room. But my favorite is seeing 6/7 year Olds having to carry the teachers chair from the playground into the school building.."

"I had no issues with this school until I had to withdraw my daughter due to us moving. They were supposed to do my withdraw paperwork and affidavit of residency to provide to the school I am trying to have her transferred to but they lied and said they don’t do affidavits of residency even though they are supposed to! Just a heads up to parents who will be withdrawing their kids. I found this to be a huge inconvenience and very unprofessional! Other than that the teachers are very nice and work hard to help the students as best as they can!"

"I attended Reese Road for 3 years in the late 80s!! My review is solely based on my childhood memories....I loved that school and made awesome friends...many of us are still friends, although I left the city in 1988!"
