Reviews
"For the record— I HATE writing reviews. Especially negative ones. I’ve been a patient with Village Medical for a few years now. I’ve had nothing but good experiences. Normally go to another office but had an emergency to where I had to go to the soonest available, which happened to be this one. Went in for my scheduled appointment and immediately was greeted by no receptionist and someone else in front of me also waiting. We both continued to wait for 30+ minutes. Nothing. No checking in. Finally, someone in the back (I assume one of the doctors) stuck his head out and was like “oh my goodness, there’s no one at the front desk.” So someone got sent out after nearly 45 minutes past my appointment time. Apparently the woman in front of me had an even EARLIER appointment for Dr. Hope as well and had been waiting even longer and had even seen someone (receptionist? doctor? not certain) working there walk out past her without even saying anything. Not a great start. Then when I was finally seen, the nurse I had was excellent. Super patient and kind. Listened and didn’t rush me. But when Dr. Hope FINALLY deemed me worthy of her time, she was immensely dismissive, didn’t seem to care about the problems I was having, and even treated the allergies I had to medications as an inconvenience. Again, I’ve seen other doctors at other offices affiliated with this practice. Not ONE of them has ever scratched their head or sighed over the fact that I have multiple antibiotic allergies. It almost seemed like she was just going to give up and NOT put me on medication, despite likelihood of an infection. When I finally got put on medication (after I had to be the one to suggest the specific antibiotic), I was told my labs would be sent off and I would hear if anything was cultured. A week goes by, nothing. I call. Send a message through the portal. No one gives me a straight answer or even mentions the fact that it was never actually sent off. I have to learn it now, two weeks later, that while there was an order, they just.. never sent it off. And could not be bothered to tell me this. The whole appointment and experience overall was super disheartening and dehumanizing. I’d specifically sought out Dr. Hope because her bio specified that she cared about women’s health and anxiety, so I’d assumed she would be understanding. But the whole ordeal just worsened my medical anxiety and has made the last two weeks horrific. As I said, I go out of my way to NOT leave reviews like this. It feels wrong, but I’m just.. super disappointed. I know the healthcare industry is a hard one to be in right now, I know everyone including medical professionals can have off days, but patients are still people. Their care is impacted by healthcare providers who just… don’t care. Wish that would be kept in mind more often. Along with organizational issues, I just don’t think I’d go back to this location even if I were having an emergency."
"Ms. Hope is a great doctor that listens. She’s very professional, pleasant and educated! I’m so happy to have chosen her as my Primary Physician when moving to Georgia."
"First time seeing Dr. Rajiv Tejura’s and I’m so happy I made an appointment with him. I had a medical condition that needed immediate care and he saw me the same day. He was calm, courteous and extremely knowledgeable of my situation. He explained everything to me in a respectful kind manner and made me feel at ease with the treatment. I would definitely recommend him and I will not hesitate to see him again if needed! Also his assistant which I’m sorry to say I can’t remember her name was just terrific as well."
"I am so happy I found Village Medical and all the amazing people who work there. Dr. Hope is like the old fashioned doctors you use to visit and they cared about you as a person not a number on a computer screen. Her answers to my questions are so thorough and helpful. She is a great listener and remembers what has been bothering you from one visit to the next. Her nurse is caring and even the new young lady at the front desk was kind and helpful. Even the pharmacy connected to Village Medical is efficient. I’m so glad I stumbled into this wonderful group of human beings!!"
