"This is one of the rudest practices I have ever been to. Jessica the office manager lets her staff talk on the phone however she wants to patients. I hope they receive training soon. I called in to make an appointment & she made me tell her what was wrong on the phone instead of just creating a sick appt for me. Very embarrassing & unprofessional. When I tried to voice my concern she made it very clear I could talk to Jessica but nothing would happen. The only reason I go here is because I love the NP Crystal Johnson but the staff makes me want to cry EVERY TIME.. look at the reviews, people come because they want to support a black doctor & soon get disappointed."
"WORSE THAN WORSE! This office is so unorganized it’s ridiculous. CONSTANT billing issues, staff providing misinformation, extremely long wait times to be seen, discussing private patient affairs in front of other strangers in the lobby, and refusing to see and treat their patients after admitting mistakes made on their part. There are way too many other primary care offices to choose from. This was my last time patronizing this office. This is not a care facility, this is a careLESS facility. Why? Because they could CARE LESS about their patients."
"Dr. Carla Neal-Haley has been my PCP for over 20 years. Although I now see Crystal Johnson, I am glad that both my son (since birth) and I are under the same office's care. Having my full history as well as his in one place that I trust makes me feel comfortable. I can visit other specialists and they know Dr. Carla's name because of her reputation. I can appreciate that!"
"This is not a very good practice. During my time getting visits here I was placed under a doctor's care who did not have my best interest in mind. Rather than assessing the issues I had, they went with conservative methods that only exacerbated my health. The doctor focused on the wrong health issues, which were being caused by the things I knew were a problem and spoke about. Even my blood tests spoke about. I had a very sensitive exam completed by a resident, which I did not consent to and was not asked if that was alright. The front phone line loops in a broken way or there is no answer at all until hang up from pressing the wrong thing or just pure frustration. I also recently found out that a diagnosis I was given was not done correctly, after moving to another, competent doctor that actually listens to my concerns. This office is unorganized, understaffed and underwhelming. If you expect good care, look elsewhere."
"I have been here twice and both times I waited over an hour for my child’s APPOINTMENT with a pediatric provider. Crystal Johnson, NP was great for our well child checkups. Otherwise this practice is not worth any patient’s time. They are nearly impossible to get by phone, don’t do medication refills by phone, and have no phone options to speak with medical staff. I had to select the “make an appointment” option on the phone and wait 12 minutes to speak with someone who literally questioned why I was calling rather than have a conversation with me about how they could help me. As I write I am currently waiting for my child’s sick visit and it’s 1h 20 mins past my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT time. I asked to give a urine sample and turned it in on my own without the nurse letting me know we needed one (they told me on the phone when I scheduled so I knew before-hand, they didn’t tell me in-office) they nonchalantly said “There is one patient ahead of you and then the doctor will be in to see you.” No apology, no empathy. I expect some semblance of respect for my time as a busy mom, I had to bring my 3 young kids in as one is sick and we are still waiting. No empathy and this is not run like a typical pediatric office. We will never be back."
