"Tree of Life Dr. Carie Carter, November 4, 2023 My journey began March 19th, 2021, when I was bitten by a Long Star tick that was infected with Alpha-Gal Syndrome. In May 2021 I started having my first reaction starting with outbreaks of hives, rashes, welts, GI issues and so much more including anaphylaxis being hospitalized a few times. I had so many roadblocks with no answers in ER, Doctors, Allergist till my Doctor mentioned an article she read about a tick after many visits with her. I started my research and the long months ahead of figuring out a new diet without all the things I was having reaction too. After a little over a year, I got to discover a treatment out there that the reviews were mixed by many. After months of reading research, tracking sources and research and the long road to find Dr. Carie Carter, my journey with her began starting SAAT. It took lots of faith over the next year. Dr. Carie stuck with me as I stuck with here. Many days I wanted to just give up. Can’t eat much losing 35 pounds and at my low of 121 pounds. Every month for over a year Carrie fought searching all the things that I was allergic to and Alpha-Gal. Took so many treatments to get to clearing me up and having a surgery to pull my gallbladder out that I feel Alpha-Gal destroyed. Not to mention the issues I had in details, but Alpha-Gale Syndrome clearly destroyed my body. Dr. Carie rebuild me from this along with faith. "Dr. Cari has been helping my family for years, with everything ranging from sick kids, to healthy births, and even a miscarriage. She is wonderful at what she does! "Cari and her team have been an absolute godsend to my family! First my son who is 8 years old. Western medicine failed us and when I was at the end of my rope and not sure how to help my son, we were referred to Cari. My son had PANDAS and Cari recognized it out of the gate. Not only was the strep in his brain, it was in his kidneys and adrenals too. Then to add insult to injury he had picked up a parasite too. This was such a scary experience as a momma and watching my son have multiple TICS on a one minute loop is unimaginable. After our first visit my kiddo walked out 90 % better.
