Reviews
"Dr. Uhring was wonderful, she was very through and explained everything but I did not feel pressured. Needless to say it was the best decision I could have ever made."
"Dr. Uhring was very attentive and knowledgeable about how to assist my son when he was evaluated. I would highly recommend her practice to anyone interested in good quality care."
"This is a review for service we had a couple years ago. My son (5 years) needed hearing aids. I do not recommend them for any children. While nice, they are relatively incompetent in their work-up. Firstly, they did not run all the tests that they should have run (found out later from a much better audiologist who was actually visibly angry at the lack of concern). Second, they had us buy super expensive hearing aids and never even mentioned that he would qualify for free hearing aids through the state. He got his hearing aids and came for a check right before starting kindergarten. They were careless and broke one of his molds so he had to start school without being able to hear properly. They also seemed to completely not care that they did this and I had to harass them to get it fixed in a timely manner. We had an appointment one time and while we were in the middle of the appointment, Elise Urhring got a phone call on her office phone. She proceeded to answer it and it turned out to be a friend. We had to sit there for 5 min while she talked about her upcoming vacation (with a 5 year old). DO NOT recommend. Maybe they are different for adults but they should not be seeing children."
"The staff at Uhrings are professional, courteous, and responsive. My husband and I both bought our hearing aids through this business 4 years ago and are very satisfied with the ongoing service."
"They are suppose to be a hearing specialist... They did nothing but bring us in and looked at our kids ear. Told us that there is just a little bit of wax and that he can't do any testing or diagnosis until the ears are cleaned. Told us we can do it at home or schedule an appointment somewhere. Then to come back in... A little wax is natural and encouraged. They couldn't do it there? They also tried to move our appointment 12 hours before we were to come in. Now they can charge twice."
