"I went as new patient to see dr. Edwards and she is amazing. Let me tell you she is cool and a very awesome dr. She also saw my teenage daughter and I was very happy with what she done. I will definitely be going back."
"RUN! Frighteningly aggressive and controlling care, all with a smiling face. Doctors seldom asked me for my consent, instead using verbiage like "I am going to do ____ now." When I asked for further explanation on things I didn't understand, they simply said I don't need to understand, I need to trust them "because they're my doctor" instead of explaining. There are so many red flags here. INFORMED CONSENT is every patient's basic right - any facility that grasps so hard for complete control is trying to take away your AUTONOMY, and birth is the last time you should be letting ANYONE else make your decisions for you, even a well experienced doctor. IF YOU STAY I highly recommend recording EVERY conversation you have with your doctor and video recording them during birth to protect yourself. PERSONALITY FIT IS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO CHOOSE AN OBGYN FOR BIRTH - if you are not educated you will be taken advantage of in this town. Do research on global billing - Dothan OB switched to this system around February of this year, meaning that the doctor that is on call when your baby is delivered gets paid for your entire pregnancy. THIS IS INCENTIVE FOR THEM TO ENCOURAGE UNNECESSARY CSECTION or intervention methods so you deliver on their watch, and they do. If you're not from here you need to know that there is a 90% induction rate in this area. I said it once and I'll say it again, RUN. Women's Medical is a great alternative if you want to stay at Southeast, as is Women's Center in Enterprise."
"I had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Middleton, and I must say that he truly stood out as an outstanding OBGYN. One of the things I appreciated the most was how he took the time to thoroughly explain and answer all of my questions, ensuring I had a clear understanding of my treatment options. He never rushed through any consultations, always giving me the time I needed. Overall, my experience with Dr. Middleton was exceptional, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking top-notch OBGYN care. Thank you, Dr. Middleton, for your professionalism, compassion, and dedication to your patient's well-being."
"I used this clinic while pregnant with my son and I can absolutely say that they have been so kind, helpful, and understanding. I have a fear of doctors but Dr. Middleton made me feel so comfortable and I will continue to see him in the future. The staff is wonderful. My only complaint is with Dr. Gordon who delivered my son. He was extremely rude during my delivery and he ruined my birthing experience."
"Dr. Franklin is absolutely amazing. The front desk is helpful and diligent. The woman who took my blood was hands down the best needle experience I’ve ever had, with very little discomfort. Thank you to your entire team. I highly recommend this office."
