"***The phlebotomist in the blood drawing area are really terrible. They will poke and prod you till you turn purple GET BLOOD DRAWN SOMEWHERE ELSE. this woman today literally put a fat needle tip DEEP in my arm and had the audacity to roll it around inside under my skin until she punctured my vein. *** it hurt like hell. I was silently upset but i just moved on but later in the day my arm turned purple in the spot and im just heated af now. Like i should have given this woman a piece of my mind. Ive been getting my blood drawn there for FOUR years and i dont even remember the last time it wasnt painful. My doctor is always doubting my health concerns. She doesn’t thoroughly check things when I show them to her. I checked my records recently and it was a mess. lots of grammer errors or she wasnt listening. Was embarrassed by it when I had to share them with outside care cause it looked like a 3rd grader typed it in. Doesnt take time with patients. Kinda hate it there."
"Dr. John the optometrist and his team are awesome total respect and care for veterans thank you"
"WOW! First time visiting this location other than the VA emergency room and I must say after experiencing the check-in staff and my triage nurse, this was the worst visit active duty or VA I have had in over 20 years. My doctor was a Dr. Surapaneni and she was the worst. My appointment was for 8:30, and after showing up on time and being triaged, I am brought to her and she is complaining to me about them scheduling me for a 30 minute appointment since I am a “new patient.” She is having an open dialog with the triage nurse about the scheduling people. I thinking, I showed up at the appointed time, I have nothing to do with your scheduling. Then I give her a list of the medications I came for, name, dosage, and frequency, and she is looking at what I assume are the same medications on the computer screen and she is asking me about said medications that I have written down for her and that are on the computer screen she is looking at. Then she seemed to not comprehend that I was prescribed these medications on active duty and they have run out and I need the same medications prescribed to me again. The utter incompetence exhibited on just simple medication refills makes me not very encouraged that if I had a major issue, I would be confident letting the VA do anything to me. As most have, I heard all the stories about how terrible the VA was when I was active duty, and there has been absolutely NOTHING in my dealings with them that have dispelled any of the stories I have heard or read about. After all of that, the “VA does not carry one of the medications.” In closing, the best part of them all, the VA sends your medications in the mail. WOW, just WOW! So not only do they not carry the medication that works, they don’t have on at the clinic and you have to wait to have them mailed to your house. UTTER RUBBISH!"
"Please either train or hire someone else to greet Veterans as they come through the door. The young man they have greeting Veterans has a serious attitude problem and most Veterans in the lobby notice it. Everyone in the lobby is old enough to be this kids father or grandfather. He's not bad just needs to let go of the attitude."
"I’m glad that my service to our country has been met with such gratitude by the VA system. This location still has not returned phone calls or responded to any of my emails. I have had to pay out of pocket for my medical treatments and PTSD related issues. Thank you once again for treating our Veterans, my self included, as third rate citizens."
