"Went in to obtain breast prosthetics and bras. Person fitting me measured me and indicated my size as what I wore prior to my surgery. It had been 8 months since my surgery—my surgeon told me no sooner than 6 months. Picked out 3 bras which fitted tight but assumed since they were new only reason. Went home wore bra rest of the day. Next day was sore and called to go back in to have fit checked. Person said I probably was still not healed enough. Should only wear for short time each day until comfortable. Still haven’t been able to wear bras. Doing PT due to fluid still on my chest. But today took bras and prosthetics to PT and discovered bra size was not what person told me I needed. Now stuck with 3 bras that are too small. I’m only posting this to have patients be aware of the items they are getting and checking everything before you leave the Wellness Place."
