"I established care at this practice last week and I am not pleased, to say the least. I am a 51-yr old, previously healthy Black woman. I have never had a PCP because I've not had any ailments requiring follow-up. I have lab work done yearly during my wellness visits with my GYN and everything is always good to excellent. The last time was in November which I informed Dr. Makori of such. During last week's visit, my lab work apparently showed two very significant new diagnoses. I did not receive a call from the office until a week later (yesterday) and was only told that I was going to be put on medication for these new diagnoses, redraw labs in 3 months and that "if" I wanted to discuss in more detail, I could schedule an appointment. Receiving a call from an assistant (instead of the doctor) would be fine if I was an established patient, but I would think for a new patient to the practice with NEW, very significant diagnoses, the doctor would have called me himself or at least directed the assistant to tell me to schedule a visit asap as opposed to just "if" I wanted to. This all felt very dismissive. I also did not receive the results of my EKG, so I still don't know where I stand with that. As of the time of this writing, I've yet to be prescribed any medicine that was mentioned on yesterday. I went from being perfectly healthy to having multiple significant diagnoses in a manner of two months (from Nov 2023 to January 2024) and the doctor did not think it was prudent to call me himself or have me come in or get me rolling on new medication. I am not pleased and am heavily considering finding a new PCP to manage my care ongoing."

"My Nurse Practitioner, Stephanie, was excellent. She had a great personality and sense of humor. She was very thorough and did not rush through the visit. She even went and got my PCP, Dr. Nishant Shroff, so that he could consult on my case."
