Southeast Medical Group - Stockbridge

"It was my understanding that my visit was for a wellness check. My appointment' was at 3:30. The nurse didn’t come and get me until 4:07. I waited for the physician until 4:39. While waiting for the doctor the young lady came in the room and drew blood. I have never had anyone come to the room ( with the doctor) present to draw blood. I’ve always gone to the designated area for that procedure. I’ve always only had one tube of blood extracted this time it was two. Not clear why the additional vile. Some explanation about a red and a blue ( possibly medical jargon ) between the doctor and the nurse. In other words I didn’t understand it. Blood pressure was not taken ?? When I checked out I was informed there was a chore payment. It’s my understanding that a wellness is provided once a year at no cost. I was informed that it was not a wellness check but a follow-up. I’m confused a follow-up from what I had not visited that facility since April of 2023. Also I was informed that my next visit would be a wellness check. The appointment was on February 8 2024"

"I have been going to Harsh and Osborne for over 22 years. Since the office has became Southeast Medical Group their billing has been terrible. I look forward going in this week and telling them that I am not going to be coming there anymore. They billed insurance incorrectly and I called about. Received a bill today for $338.72 for what over the last 22 years was a standard copay. No my insurance did not change."

"The staff here is very friendly. But they need serious improvement with how the patients are able to communicate with them from home. They never answer the phone. So whenever I had to refill prescriptions or had a question, I had to drive to the office. And they would charge me 25 dollars co-pay just to come to the office for refill. They have no web portal. They send your lab results in the mail. I think they can do a lot better with the service they offer and make it more comfortable and affordable for their patients."
