"Extremely disappointed with the Peachtree Orthopedics NORTHSIDE practice. Specific teams (Dr.Silcox/Dr. Messick/Dr.Douglas Murray). I have been dealing with a few issues (lower back, neck/spine/shoulder). They refused to order MRIs no matter how many times I requested one, noting that my insurance would not approve it, unless I did physical therapy, etc. Did all of it diligently, only to find that every issue persisted. Went to a different practice (Axion Spine), who upon hearing my symptoms, IMMEDIATELY ordered and were approved for MRIs, only to find severe issues that have been unrevealed and misdiagnosed by these Peachtree Orthopedic doctors. It was a literal money grab. I am now having to work this other practice to determine best steps to resolve issues that should’ve immediately been addressed at the time, as they involve my spine. I am extremely disappointed and will be taking further action. Please beware of this practice."

"This is one of the best experiences with a doctor's office that I've had in a long time. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and helpful, including the front desk staff, physician's assistant, doctor, etc). Dr. Barden is extremely knowledgeable, kind, took his time with me, and explained things in a way that I could understand. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Barden!!"

"I took my father to an appointment with Dr. Douglas Murray on October 4th and suffice it to say we were not pleased nor were we impressed. Dr. Murray was rude, arrogant, condescending and instead of talking to my father and I he was talking down to us he was referred to my dad by my father's primary orthopedist and he accused my father of forgetting how to use his shoulder and then gave him a cortisone shot on a "shot and a prayer" and then assigned him some physical therapy. The level of arrogance on display that day has absolutely no business in a doctor's office. Dr. Murray did not treat my father with anything beyond a shot of cortisone basically accused my father's primary orthopedist being stupid even though he didn't come out say it. He further said that he didn't know why he sent there nor what the referring physician or the radiologist that read the CT scan arthogram saw with my father's shoulder. Dr. Murray also manipulated my father's arm in several different positions that caused he pain and wouldn't stop nor did he seem to care. I am my father's caregiver so I take arrogance of this magnitude where my father's Medical Care is concerned personally and very seriously. It is my concerted opinion that if Dr Murray is going to be this rude towards patients in obvious pain that he should not be a doctor with this office. On a positive note his staff was great there kindness and professionalism were top notch five stars, it was Dr. Murray's attitude and professionalism that left us wanting. I am sure Dr. Murray is a very good physician however, based upon his attitude and lack of professionalism if I have a choice of orthopedist I would always choose someone else."

"Drove three hours in this ridiculous traffic to my appointment, to be told that they will not see me until my balance was satisfied. Mind you I have been paying on my balance. On top of everything else they did not help my issues. Not only my hands and arms are constantly asleep and tingling my legs and feet have started the same. Guess I will continue to search for a doctor that can actually help and is not in it for just the money. Thanks for nothing!"
