We got set up with Dr. Kaur ad we could not be happier with our experience with her. Dr, Kaur is so kind and understanding. She is extremely knowledgeable. When she read my sons brain scans, it was if she had known him his entire life. She has helped my son so much and we are so very grateful! "Dr. Kaur is wonderful. She is very attentive, and she actually listens to what I have to say. She gives great feedback that is balanced. For example, her answer to everything isn’t just “take this pill!”- she listens and gives more practical, helpful solutions before jumping to prescribing meds. Although she has prescribed me meds that have been very helpful, I know they were only prescribed after careful consideration with my history and scans in mind. I highly recommend Dr. Kaur if you are looking for a psychiatrist that will actually help you and care for you and not just treat you like a number!"

"I visited the Amen Clinic of Atlanta in June 2023. It was a desperate reach for answers and help… I had a rough postpartum, depression had taken over, and none of the previous psychiatrist were able to help.. I walked down the hallway after doing the Brain Imaging, the staff had stated it would be a couple weeks before I could see Dr. Mathew.. Dr. Mathew’s assistant ran down the hall stopped me, “Dr. Mathew has an opening next week, would this work?” Dr. Mathew’s assistant was kind, understanding, and could see how bad I was struggling. I met with Dr. Mathew, I remember sitting on her couch and my anxiety was through the roof, my depression had stolen my hope, and I just prayed she could help me. I explained what I had been through, the scary thoughts I had encountered out of nowhere, the anxiety, and the insomnia. Dr. Mathew was compassionate, kind, and spoke in layman’s terms for us. I appreciated her empathy and her work ethic. She was determined to help me, I had not seen that from any prior psychiatrist. I remember thinking, “this woman barely knows me, but she truly cares about me and my family.” I went from rarely able to take care of my children because of my condition, to taking care of children full time. Dr. Mathew truly helped me and is currently still on that journey with me. I went from depression and falling on my knees crying and begging for healing to now living an everyday life with my family.
