"Very unprofessional establishment. My wife and I are expecting our first child. Our first appointment took 3 hours and 2 of those hours were in the waiting room on a day that wasn’t busy. There was no care for our schedule or my wife’s needs. Doctor did not focus on any of wife’s concerns. They scheduled a virtual visit with my wife at the end of that appointment. My wife received no information leading to that virtual appointment and never heard from the doctor. Called the office and they had someone with the last name scheduled for that appointment so clearly they booked the wrong person for the appointment despite my wife giving her information to book the appointment. My wife then scheduled the first appointment of the day for an ultrasound and when we check in we ask if we can expect a short wait. We are told we are the first there so there shouldn’t be much of one. My wife scheduled the appointment with the office manager and was told she would be seen quick so she could get to work after. Well after over half an hour of waiting, 2 patients that came after us are brought in while we are still waiting. We ask the front desk about this and they go back to talk to the office manager and nobody addresses us after that. Nurses are coming out for coffee and mints, some are casually coming in for the day but nobody seems to care for our time at all. Nobody spoke to my wife at all. If you are getting “lifted” or “snatched” then this is probably the right place for you since Dr. Thrasher has a video of all of her cosmetic procedures playing 24/7 in the waiting room. Guess it’s not a family friendly practice. There was a time when a women’s first months of pregnancy meant something to her providers. We were treated like we didn’t matter so if you are going for anything other than cosmetic surgery, I can tell you that you deserve better, so go elsewhere."

"I’ve been a patient with Dr. Melinda Miller Thrasher for years and yesterday’s experience was by far the worst one I’ve ever had. Since Dr. Miller- Thrasher has been expanding her business, she has had so many new front office staff & medical staff at the Smyrna location. The sense of urgency of getting patients in and out is gone. Once you leave your appointment you would had realized you were in there for 3 hours. Prior to scheduling an appointment, I was consulted by a front office staff member on what to do and pricing & when I got to my appointment and got to the back totally different amounts and didn’t procedure then what was expected. I expressed my frustrations to Dr. Miller- Thrasher (I haven’t seen her in years) and before she walked out she stated “well you can get a refund for your visit and go somewhere for your services”. At that exact moment I felt so hurt that she would ever tell me that considering I have been an FAITHFUL patient that has even referred others to her practice. Honestly I am very hesitant to go back for anymore services but overall disappointed I was treated that way. I expected so much more from her."
