"This picture is from me coming to do my son’s hair after driving an hour away because she refuses to let me have my children, the police was called for no reason. I was her foster child she stole my kids from me at 16 I had no parents graduated college two degrees and she dragged me through hell had me arrested in custody court for violation of a tpo hired a high powered attorney and had me facing 20 years in prison for 3 years I fought. I lost my house my job as a postal worker. Stole my business plan for an independent living program and did a podcast telling all of my children’s business and my business regarding their mental health to the public. She fails to provide therapy and psychiatric services other than a pediatrician no 504 plan no ieps no services until I initiated them. This business is a joke. she is sneaky after filing for custody of my kids I violated a restraining order to see them she had my kids live with me because she couldn’t control them and smirked when she gave them back and refused to even let them visit why she collected the money for years. She came to my house with my child home alone to confiscate them back because she said I owed her money that I didn’t have being that she’s collecting all the month for them. I have been reporting her abuse for years and nothing has been done emotionally she has traumatized me and all of my children….she is a demon please stay away from her do not do business with the devil she smiles bright but is very cold and evil on the inside. i am 30 she has been dragging me through custody hell 16 years everyday i am still learning to be happy to keep persevering to keep moving no matter how many times she stomps on top of me tearing me down she is manipulative and sneaky and prays on teen moms with young kids and takes custody from the mom that’s why she has all those teen moms children in her home. she is dangerous to work with keep kids away from her she can no longer even foster through the state of ga she has been banned for years stay away from her she is shady and dangerous and emotionally abuse to all children."
"Should have option for no stars. It took 3 months for them to respond to referral and schedule initial assessment. Assessment completed via zoom, then nothing. Scheduling reaches out to schedule another intake "due to updates they need to redo everything." Complete second intake. 2 weeks later message about paperwork I was supposed to receive via email, no response. My child sends a message the following week and gets a response, " working on it". It has now been another month with no response, and nothing scheduled. However insurance was notified and they approved of community services so ga hope had no issues with getting the billing taken care of...although intake was only appointment. I have reached out about the services through the ga hope website but we've yet to get a response- shocker. If your child needs MH services...go elsewhere as they clearly won't get any assistance from GA HOPE."
"I have been a client with Georgia hope for a year now via zoom/teams teletherapy. My first therapist was so amazing she was the one. She was the one who inspired me to get my bachelor's degree in Psychology for mental health. Then go for my masters to become an LPC. Well she ended up moving onto another job in April of this year. Then I got my new one end of April. I loved her too but sadly she's going somewhere else too. I see the new one next week. Even though I gave 5 stars I am bummed I keep getting new therapist. I didn't even find out about my new one until she called me today to tell me the news. I feel as if that shouldn't be happening as for some people like myself bringing up their trauma every time with a new therapist causes ptsd for weeks."
"This place is a joke. We have been here twice now and they keep saying no your appointment was at this time when they told us a different time. And I even had my mom here and she said that wasn't right. This place is a joke. They don't want to help anyone . We had more help from the fort Oglethorpe location then this one. They really want to mess with people mental health. I truly don't know how they can sleep at night. When they have truly don't want to help kids or teenagers."
"If I could give GA Hope negative stars, I would. I've been trying for 6+ months to get my son into therapy. September 2022, a referral was made and I have an intake appointment. After that appointment, the man we met with had every excuse to not follow through with the scheduled appointments (3 total) until finally I never heard anything else from him or anyone else with GA Hope. In January 2023, we switched primary pediatricians and they sent over a new referral. Fast forward to the beginning of this month when I finally heard something back from a lady in the referrals department at GA Hope. I was told I would have to have a new intake appointment done since it had been so long and it was scheduled for the 21st. That day came and no one ever called or text to give me the Zoom info. The next day, she told me she tried to call me numerous times, but had my old number, which doesn't make since as I had typed my new number in an email I had sent on the 16th. We rescheduled the intake appointment for the 28th for 5pm. I logged on to Zoom at 4:30 and waited until 5:15, with no one ever joining. The next day, I sent in a complaint via the GA Hope website. 4 hours ago, I called and left a message. I find it incredibly insane that I've jumped through so many hoops to get NO WHERE. Apparently a child's wellbeing doesn't matter to GA Hope as my son would really benefit from therapy. I hope no other parent has to go through this with these people."
