"I am very disappointed with the quality of health care that I received at this facility. I was given antibiotics when I did NOT have a bacterial infection. If they had properly tested I would’ve been treated for a virus with antivirals. Instead I had to suffer with a fever for over two weeks. They should be required to actually uphold their oath and help their patients."
"Horrible customer service. I was scheduled to come in at 2:30 pm for a follow-up appointment. After arriving, I was told they didn't have me down for an appointment. I received a text message telling me to click the link to check-in. The office manager came out and was very rude! She said the appointment line didn't know what they were doing and didn't know when a doctor for my situation would be present. How unprofessional. This has happened 3 times! Looks like they need a new office manager who can make sure jobs are done correctly."
"I have always had good experiences with Urgent Care in Calhoun. I'm an RN and was recently very sick and visited Urgent Care on a very busy day as waiting area was very crowded. I did have a wait, but it moved along pretty good pace. Even though the NP was very busy, he was very thorough in assessment. I received negative results from one test while in office, but received two separate calls that night with results of the two other tests that were positive. For a walk in clinic, I received more personal attention than most personal doctors. I really like this clinic. I am completely recovered due to their care."
"Updated review - 3 days later and they still have not returned messages from the pharmacy or my calls. I had to take my daughter to another urgent care to get the rx that that they failed to provide. Yet they already sent me a bill! You can see their priorities here. I used to really love this place. I have usually had great experiences here over the years. It has only been recently that things have started going downhill. The hours state that they are open until 8pm. I showed up at 6.30pm yesterday with my sick daughter but they stated that they were not seeing anyone else. I came back again today and waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room. After finally being seen, they sent over a rx for medicine to the pharmacy. Of course the medicine that they prescribed is on back order and they weren’t responding to the pharmacy. I called back and requested that they respond to the pharmacy and provide a new medication rx. A couple hours later, still no medication rx has been sent over. I call back only to be told it can take up to ONE BUSINESS day for them to respond to request from the pharmacy on a medication. How is this an urgent care then?"
"Check in process was simple, over all a great experience with the NP was caring and actually listened to my concerns for coming in. However when I was being led back, the lady who checks your weight and leads you to the room was extremely rude. I was polite and courteous with her from the start. She second guessed the complaints that I had and the reasoning for me coming in as if I was faking. With rude and smart aleck remarks such as "what's wrong with you?" "You seem fine to me" and "You don't look someone who has your condition" It didn't get better when she brought me to the room. After "proving" my claims false in the hall. She continued to check my heart rate and pulse. After everything seemed alright, I was met with " See? Normal, everything is fine." In the same rude tone she had with me in the hall. It didn't change until the woman actually listened to my heart and seemingly understood what I was talking about. Her demeanor changed when she left the room and came back. I understand having a bad day but belittling and undermining a patient trying to play doctor yourself to me seems unprofessional and unjust. Again aside from that lady, I was met with care and a professional environment from the front desk and the NP."
