"Dr Armas is a great doctor. He's told me things i didn't want to hear but now it all makes sense. Being agoraphobic is very diilfficult but he does listen and check on all aspects of my life."
"Dr. Armas is incredibly helpful in treating my symptoms. He also adds in a bit of counseling to check up on my well being and mental health and uses both therapy as well as medication to treat each disorder I'm dealing with. This office has saved my life after I lost my mother and father within a month of each other. So thankful for Dr. Armas and his staff. I would highly recommend if you are struggling with any mental health issues."
"I had a great experience with the whole clinic. Great doctor who knows about which medication are best for someone that’s had a history of seizures. Did my mental health evaluation and understood the environmental impact of a custody battle when it comes to your children. I will continue to use this clinic."
"Very unprofessional. Dr. sat there every visit with lip stuck out looking as if he’s pouting. Another thing is I was accused of telling lie about my last appointment time since my mom & I complained about them telling me to be there @ 8 his time according to the card his secretary gave me a month earlier & not getting to go back until 8:45 since I had another appointment with a totally different Dr scheduled immediately after my scheduled appointment with him. Dr. smarted off to me & my mom that appointment was at 8:15 not 8. The next day we received call via my dad’s cell phone that he’s no longer taking my insurance. Funny his name is still listed on my primary insurance company’s website as 1 of their providers & it’s been a month since we got the call. Previous month secretary lied about calling me 24 hours in advance to postpone appointment. I have caller ID on my phone and she did not call until right at closing time the day before my scheduled appointment which ended up costing my mom a days pay since she’d taken the day off to drive me to Chattanooga. My family & I told staff numerous times I don’t drive in Chattanooga so I have to depend on my family to drive me to appointments. They expect patients to come in every month. In my opinion they’re ripping off people. 1 day my blood pressure was dangerously high when secretary checked it. Rather than Dr. go ahead and call my cardiologist immediately and let him know he totally ignored it and didn’t do 1 thing other than send my prescriptions over to my pharmacy. 1 medication he had me on caused me to stay hot, sweaty and red as a beet. He saw me like that numerous times and rather than him realize that medicine he had me on was causing the problem he didn’t do anything. I finally found out about side effects via my pharmacist since I text her and had her check side effects of everything I was taking at that time & she text back telling me it’s antidepressant he had me on that’s causing me to be hot, sweaty and red from getting so hot. They also won’t do prior authorization for meds they prescribe. I received letter yesterday from current insurance stating they’d made claim to them over appointment in July. I never had psychotherapy plus in July I had a different primary insurance."
"I can see what is wrong with the patients that say bad things about the staff and the Dr . It is obvious just because the patients don’t get the narcotic drugs that they want or they don’t want to pay there bill to see the Dr then they get mad when the lady in the front office tells them they must pay to see the Dr or she tries to work something out with them because the Dr doesn’t like for the patients to go without there medication but when then they just point blank want pay anything that day then the patients get mad and goes and put a bad review on here saying the lady upfront is rude and she doesn’t care about the patients but that isn’t true. The lady does what ever she can to help the patients but anyone can only to so much to help someone. I can see the lady is a very heard worker and is very dedicated to her job. I can say she is the best worker this Dr office has had in a very long time.Plus a business can’t stay in business if they aren’t getting paid . So for all of the complainers Find yourself a different Dr if you don’t like the Dr or the staff. Ever Dr office has rules and policies that must be obeyed by .To the front office lady and the Dr keep up all the good work you are doing. Plus to Rebecca Williamson you seam to be one of them people that want things your way will guess what that want happen when they are rules to go by everyone has on obey by them. Plus FYI the lady has been there for close to a year so u must be hallucinating when you say they are someone different every month at the front office. I would highly recommend Dr Armas to anyone because he cares about his patients and so does the front office worker there main concern is giving the best mental health services to the patients that they can.Dr Armas wife is the sweetest lady you will ever meet ."
