"You cannot plan your day around your Dr appointment at this office. I have been here since 7:50 (7:45 scheduled arrival time) and it is now 8:47 and I still have not even seen the doctor. This is consistent. Idk if it’s because they know their patients cannot afford to go anywhere else or what but it is extremely frustrating."

"I had a very uncomfortable visit with MaryJo, the nurse practitioner at Southside Community Health Center in St. Elmo. I usually see the wonderful Dr. Emily Agar, but she is currently on maternity leave and wasn’t available. I came for a refill of ADHD medication and an orthopedic referral for a torn meniscus. From the moment MaryJo walked into the room, her air was demeaning and judgmental. She called me an addict, suggesting my behavior was “aberrant.” My behavior in fact, was perfectly courteous, appropriate, consistent, accounted for and supported by numerous medical records and providers. What MaryJo has done, is reinforced a terrible cliche, where someone who has been honest with their history is punished for healing from it. And now, this person -I’m sure- will jot a load of face-saving smears in my chart to cover herself. But the truth is this: this visit was a basic encounter -A wellness check, a refill and a knee referral. Instead, she turned it into this ugly situation, where I’m deprived treatment that has greatly improved my life. It really hurt my feelings and I didn’t deserve to be treated this way. I’ve worked very hard to make my life what it is today and she dismissed my entire person with a hand wave and preconceived prejudice."

"Deondra is the best nurse practitioner I have ever seen! I’m so grateful for this clinic and the care she provides. She is very knowledgeable, detailed, caring, and down to earth. Erlanger is fortunate to have her on their staff"

"I had a great therapist here and the receptionist was really awesome. All the workers I interacted with were great. My issue is with the billing department. They sent me like 20 of my copays back at one time for weekly therapy saying I didn't owe them, and then later sent those same amounts I'd already paid in to debt collectors. I just got off the phone with one and paid it in full, as I did 3 years ago before they refunded me all the copays I had made. Fiscal needs to get it together."

"Doctors don't seem to know what they are doing. I've never got back ANY labs results that they order for me. They send you to room to room. Very unorganized. The nurse practioner asked me if i already gave the urine sample and I mentioned that I was never told to do one, and so again, I was sent to another room to do that. I'm constantly asked throughout my visit of my name. I feel like this facility needs improvement, and rooms need to be more sanitary."
