"I had out patient hernia repair surgery. I was there at 5:30 am and was home by 10:30 am. I am very satisfied with the whole experience. The nurses were professional as well as knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was explained in a way that I could understand, all questions answered."

"I went to outpatient for a procedure and the greeting staff upfront greeted me as I walked inside. My Nurse Morgan in Outpatient was so understanding and nice to me .She showed empathy and she helped me to feel comfortable. The staff was friendly in helping me to find my way around. The staff person Rachel who is in Ultrasound was so nice and my Radiologist was nice as well along with his assistant. Kayla in Imaging was so down to earth ."

"When you work in healthcare as a nurse and suddenly find yourself with a serious medical concern requiring tests, it is sometimes scarier than when you have no medical knowledge at all. During my recent visit to the SGMC Main MRI center, I was probably more worried than what anyone knew at the time. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and introduce to the nurses who were responsible for completing my 2 MRIs, Christie and Lexie. Always with a smile and a constant reassuring tone, they put me at ease right away and explained what was happening step by step, all while making sure I was as comfortable as possible and double checking all safety factors. During the procedures, they kept me informed about the timing of all the loud noises and scary moments. They were professional the entire time. Lexie expressed being proud of the great training she was receiving from the more experienced Christie and was motivated to do a great job. Christie was patient and kind with her training and with helping to comfort me and remain efficient at the same time. If I had to received these tests, I was thankful for the wonderful service I received from these 2 ladies!!!"

"I have been to the OBED, the labor and delivery department, and the postpartum department all within the past few days. They kept constant monitoring of the baby the whole time. All of the doctors and nurses seemed extremely kind and knowledgeable. They seemed to actually care about my condition and my comfort. They made sure every medicine and procedure was well explained beforehand which helped put my mind at ease. My only experience with this hospital before this was with the ER so I was expecting a bad experience but was pleasantly surprised."
