Reviews of Legacy Behavioral Health Crisis Center
"It's a great Place . Staff is very helpful... Food is great ."
"I really appreciate the professionalism of the staff and how quickly and thorough the process was. Thanks for your genuine help and service."
"Only 1 star cause I can't do none, please don't send your loved ones here or go yourself, the staff is nothing but rude and how does it help when someone is got a chemical imbalance (diagnosed) and need their meds to survive, completely cut them off, and the neglect their patients, as well as dismiss what their patients are telling them, this place is a joke and needs to be shut down, I as this family members family will do what is necessary to make sure my family survives, these patients are someone's family, quit treating them like just a paycheck, if it was their family they would do what it takes, please please please DONT EVER SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE OR GO HERE FOR YOUR SELF"
"The act team and dr there have done nothing to help my son get better in fact the crisis center sent him to Savannah he comes back so much better then the act team change his medication and wouldn’t keep him on the medication Savannah put him on now he is in a much worse place beware"
"My AS went to this facility for detox and to get into inpatient treatment. He has raved about the staff and how nice they are. However, the communication that I have had on behalf of my son and at his request has been very supar. While I understand the facility is for patient treatment, family involvement is crucial to recovery as well. Family support is very important for an addicts recovery. I have had contact with the discharge planner who assured me she would notify me at least 2 days in advance of my son's transfer with a list of items he would need at the treatment facility and she would also arrange a family meeting. My son is being transferred today and I have yet to hear from her. This is totally unprofessional. If an employee of this facility assures someone of something they should do it. Also, my son spoke with the director of the facility yesterday to request a family meeting as he has been there 16 days and all others being transferred today have been there a shorter period of time and have had family meetings. My son called me last night and said if I could be at the facility by 7:30 this morning the director assured him we would get a family meeting. This call came as I was driving home from taking his items I could best determine he would need at the new facility. I live 1 hour 15 minutes away. I got up at 5:30 am and ddrove the 1 hour 15 minute drive for our family meeting only yo be turned away because SOMEONE failed to note there was to be one. I am very frustrated by the lack of communication within and from this facility. I have to say, my son says everyone at the facility with the exception of one charge nurse who hss perceived as unpproachable and has never even spoke to him are WINDERFUL; however, he feels as do I that the family communication has been very poor. I hace requested a calk fromthe directorto discuss this.....Let's see if I ever get that call"
