"Good ER. Staff is great. However, I recently received a $12,000 bill...for a visit that happened 2 years ago! I had already paid $3,000 in various bills and fees and thought that was it. Just feels slimy. It's okay for Piedmont to take two years to process a bill but I'm expected to pay it in less than 30 days?"
"The staff was excellent, nurses, registrar, MD. I went AMA and I wish I had not as I am still so uncomfortable and my own Dr said to just go back to the ED. Piedmont, thank you for showing me that you truly care about your patients."
"Mrs. Carmela went above and beyond to make me comfortable and to provide great customer service..I wish hospitals had more of HER and less of THEM; actually people that care… thanks for making my visit pleasant!!! —Tenesia C—"
"If I could give you a negative score I would !! No one has contacted me about the way my daughter was treated. After I called back and expressed my concerns . On how she was released in Adrenal Crisis without being treated properly. Shame on you Doctor Ellis for not considering maybe the patient knows their body and what’s going on . She Even had proof but the release papers stated her visit was for vomiting and diarrhea. When she came to your Er for staph in her blood and adrenal crisis!?!?After being told by her PCP to do so! Now she has got to go through all of this again. And I just pray it hasn’t damaged her more."
"Went here yesterday feeling very ill and short of breath. The nurse Chris was extremely rude and condescending. Told me that I may feel like I was short of breath but I wasn’t because my oxygen level was normal and I could finish sentences. Actually Chris, oxygen saturation and being short of breath does not correlate with each other always. I shared with him my history of asthma and he asked me why I didn’t just use my inhaler. Well, I’m SICK too and my whole HEAD IS CONGESTED so I need more help than that and my inhaler helps very little. Really I wanted to be treated for the ILLNESS I have that’s obviously causing the SHORTNESS OF BREATH. Finally a woman came up and said they’d be x-raying me and giving me a breathing treatment. Yet they sent me back to the waiting room and after a hour of waiting I was never called and everyone who came in after me was called before me, so what did I do? I just walked out. They obviously didn’t care anything about what I had going on. So I just feel laughed at by this place and like they didn’t really want to do anything for me but I promise you if I feel bad enough to come to the hospital than something is definitely wrong with me yet I wasn’t helped and still feel miserable."
