"I have been a patient at this facility for almost eleven years now! As a new patient back in 2013, I saw Dr. Kelvin White, and he was extremely kind and considerate in all aspects of my care; from personally calling a colleague to refer me out, loving my children as they grew up and treating them with respect...right down to honoring my faith and at times, praying with me during some really difficult circumstances in my life. He always treated me with dignity and grace. I was saddened to see him go. Having said that, I choose to stay with this practice because of Ms. Kim at the front desk, and several of the other ladies that are employed at this location. Although I now live approximately an hour and a half away, I will make that drive, to have continuity of care and because I know that I can rely on, and trust, Ms. Kim. I feel that sometimes the staff that are in support roles, may often be overlooked. When it comes down to the day-to-day operations of our healthcare system, the front desk is the heartbeat of what makes the Lovejoy office run smoothly. So today is a day to thank Ms. Kim for all that she does! When I walk through that front door, Ms. Kim's smile literally lights up the room! She is always extremely pleasant, she knows me by name and she makes me feel good about coming in. I am old-school, so in today's society, finding a staff member like that is a rare quality. The fact that she is so personable and even notices when I have gotten a new haircut, speaks volumes! When I call and she answers, she recognizes my voice and asks me how I am. I jokingly say, "Who needs therapy, when you can just come in and see Ms. Kim? She always seems to make everything okay!?" Ms. Kim is also consistent when she says that she will pass a message on to Ms. Knight, return my phone call, or let me know about my labs, etc. I have also noticed that she proudly displays photos of her family at her desk, which furthermore proves who she is fundamentally and what great she qualities she brings to the table. There has only been one instance where I have gotten very angry and Ms. Kim was able to take me from a 10, down to a 2, just by allowing me to vent and be sympathetic. There was also one occasion where I came into the office sobbing, and she took me to the back and found me a quiet place to sit and made sure that I was okay. She even laughs at my corny jokes. So, Thank You Ms. Kim...You are appreciated more than you know!"

"Elisha is amazingly sweet and takes care of business to help patients get seen and Dr. Lewis/Knight omg she is a breath of fresh air. She listens and that’s what people don’t do these days…Listen and show they care about your health."
