"From when we walked into the door to when we received our food service was excellent. Shaq helped us and got me setup with the rewards. The food was so good and it was a lot of food too! Got 2 kids meals, tenders and pulled pork (kid ate entire sandwich he is a picky eater) I got the pick 2 brisket and ribs fried okra and Mac and cheese. And hubby got the brisket sandwich. Pew h cobbler was dang good! We will be coming back!"

"I gained this restaurant five stars for great tasting food and going above and beyond for our Christmas dinner. We ordered 3 half chickens for our meal, but they ran out. Instead of just refunding us, they gave us a smoked turkey. It turned out to be exceptional. Thank you City Barbecue!!! You’ve always been one of our favorite places! Love the Snellville location!"

"Oh. My. We stopped here for lunch yesterday. The food was OUTSTANDING! The atmosphere was great, the staff was very polite & friendly. I got the pulled pork & brisket. Wife got pork & chicken. Her green beans & corn pudding sides were great. My fries taste like fresh cut potatoes & my Mac n cheese had a delicious cheesy crust on top. The pork was tender & juicy, not dried out. The brisket had a perfect blend of bark & tender meat but wasn't too fatty. Overall, deliciously flavored meat! Now for the sauce... What a great compliment to already great food! The Swine Wine is a thin vinegar based sauce that unlocks a whole new level of flavor when added to pork. The Brush Fire is a traditional thicker sauce but has a nice little kick to it. Went great with everything! I'm one of those that would much rather smoke my own meats at home instead of taking a chance out at a bbq place. Well I'm glad I found City Barbecue because, as I told my wife, I can have delicious BBQ without having to cook any of it! If I had to find a downside I'd say it's the fact they serve Pepsi instead of Coke. However we had their sweet tea mixed with a little Lemonade & it was perfect. Both are fresh brewed & not out of the soda fountain!"

"Stopped in for the first time at the chain and loved the food. LOVED IT. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich - comes with a fried chicken breast, slaw, pickles, and Nashville hot mayo. Very good. I got a side of Mac and Cheese. Tasty. Edge of the pan bits gave a good texture range. Wife got the pulled pork sandwich and fries. Delicious sandwich (huge portions) and the fries are good - fresh style like at Five Guys. Kids got tenders and a pork sandwich. Both with Mac and cheese. Everything was eaten except for a bit of the sandwich - but what are you gonna do? Kids are kids. Cool atmosphere. Blend of low country and modern. Wished they had both registers open bc ordering was a bit slow. Lots of good sauce options available. Will DEFINITELY be back again soon."

"The customer service was excellent!! I loved all the smiles and friendly attitudes. Ordering was quick and efficient. The food was luke warm . The ribs were very tender and tasty. The potato salad was good .The baked beans and collards were a little heavy on vinegar .The banana pudding was the star of the show DELICIOUS. The sweet tea was good as well. It's definitely worth trying. I'll be going back to try the other menu items."
