It can be really stressful to have to get imaging done but the warmth and kindness of the staff really allows us to feel comfortable and have an amazing experience. Notably, Shanti Collooru did an absolute wonderful job of handling my paperwork and insurance. Her kindness and ability to bring me ease and comfort made my whole experience infinitely better. "Horrible experience. What they don’t tell you up front is that you can pay self pay for cheaper, BUT they hit you with a separate bill for $1337 just for the radiologist to read the scan. Sad excuse for patient care. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience."

At the premium price patients pay for imaging exams at Northside, we deserve better treatment. Wellstar facilities treat patients much better."

"This place doesn’t have their act together. Breakdown between the person doing the scheduling, person handling day-of check-in, and person performing the scan. I was told by scheduler to arrive early to drink contrast solution, and I did. I told person handling registration I needed to drink contrast solution and I was told they would give it to me “when they call you back.” When called back technician asked me how long ago I’d drank the contrast; I said I hadn’t yet. She suggested I reschedule for another day because it has to be consumed 45 min to an hour before scan. Or, I could drink it now and wait an extra hour for the scan. I told technician I had asked for contrast solution when I first checked in (which by now was an hour earlier) but they told me I’d get it later. The technician was very nice and apologized saying, “We’ve been having this problem a lot lately.” Anyway, looks like I’ll be spending much longer than expected here at Northside’s Alpharetta Imaging today. The poor reviews I just read are accurate and well deserved. I also plan to let me referring physician know this place is a disappointment. Go somewhere else if you can!"
