"Where do I start? My food was cooked way to fast for starters. My bacon was burnt My eggs was cold and undone. My waffle was cold as well soggy before adding syrup. My bread was hard. Not to mention my potatoes were unseasoned as well as cold. For future references the to go containers don’t work for the food that’s being placed in them. WAY BETTER WHEN YOU DINE IN!!!!!!!!!"
"We had the fried chicken sandwich and absolutely loved it. Great taste. I was underwhelmed by the pimento cheese omelette. You could not taste of pimento cheese at all, and there was none on top or anything like that. It tasted just like a regular omelette I could’ve made in my bathrobe. The grits were really good and I recommend them. Also, if you like coffee, this is a good spot for a nice Instagram worthy cup. Service was excellent and they validate parking ."
"A great place to have brunch with friends! Kind of hidden, they validate parking for parking garage. We order some great dishes. The grits are to die for. The pancakes were good. As we’re the fried green tomatoes! The eggs Benedict with turkey sausage and order of grits were delicious!"
"I had the chicken hash which would have been great if the chicken was fresh. If they offered this dish with no meat then it would be a winner. Second, either the server was delayed in putting in our order or the kitchen was slow making it. Whichever was the case our food was SLOW to the table compared to other guests that were seated after us."
"West Egg Cafe is the best! My hubby and I had a double date, and EVERYONE loved their food. I got the chicken Chiaqueles: corn tortilla chips sautéed with a spicy red sauce topped with two fried eggs with a side green salad with a light vinegarette Next was a pimento cheese and bacon omelet with added spinach. It came with a biscuit. Next was the enormous Fried Egg sandwich which was big enough to be two servings. Last was the Westside Pileup. It had potatoes, bell peppers, cheese, and two eggs. It came with a couple of pieces of bacon. The coffee was good and the service was also very good. We all parked at different paid lots, which were a short walk to the restaurant."
