"This is a little place with big flavor. They smoke and cook their food and serve you that, fresh, daily. I got the pulled pork plate with baked beans and fried potatoes. The pork was fresh, tender, delicious, juicy, and not full of fat like other bbq places! The baked beans were good too, but the fried potatoes were fantastic - crispy, salted, flavorful, and delicious. Even the toast that comes on these plates was good. I also got iced tea, and it was fresh and delicious. I don't usually write a review for a place I've only been once, but I was incredibly impressed. I'm already planning the next time I can go back."

"A must stop when in Fort Payne if you are a BBQ lover. We either eat in the restaurant or get a to go order to take back to the RV campground at DeSoto State Park whenever we come to the park. The outside of the restaurant doesn’t look like much, but isn’t that the way it always is with good bbq?"
