"I strongly believe this store is stealing their customers money. Before you leave this store, you must check your receipt, since their cashier always scanned one item twice. They have a lot of variety of merchandise, that is the reason I shop in that store. However, just within one year, it happens 3 times to me that the cashier double charged for one item. Another time, the cashier charged me an item that I even did not buy. There is another time, I caught a cashier who tried to take a veg out from the cashier counter, and try to scan it and add it on my bill. When I confronted to the manager, their attitude was that refund is the best and the only solution they can do. If this happens once or twice, it might be the cashier’s honest mistake. I would be happy to get the refund. When it happened constantly, then I wounder it might be the store policy to double scan one item randomly. For me, that is stealing. I strongly suggest you must check your receipt before you leave this store with your grocery."
"This is a very good Asian Supermarket, but some customer service is really bad here, especially the woman in this photo. we bought a lot of grocery here, and also we are the last customer in this lane, the store is not busy at all at that moment, however, when this woman check out every thing we have, she just let everything laid on the counter and watch us packed everything by ourselves, we asked if she should help, she refused to do that, how funny, never met cashier like this in any supermarket! If you go to this market, please avoid her, the rest of cashier all have good attitude and would like to help customer. I hope the manager of this store can see this review, and do something on the management side, every customer service should have the attitude to help customer!"
"Come here if you enjoy being bullied and stepped all over! Come here if you enjoy dealing with crazy customer service! Was here with my mother. The way this cashier was packing items was really SOMETHING, stuffing a dozen packets of frozen food into a single plastic bag. When my mom used another plastic bag as the original bag was obviously overstuffed, the cashier snapped at her for “not respecting the fruits of her labor”. So even with the long and angsty line behind us, Ms. Cashier kept on fighting my mom on how we can pack things WE BOUGHT. She micromanaged our every move, her siren going off every time we need a new bag. We Not the first time a cashier at this supermarket has been stingy with bags, but first time something just they just don’t let it go (verbally and physically). If you are Asian and come go GW for the diversity of Asian groceries, do yourself a favor and go to Jusgo. GW is in no means affordable but has the chaos and customer service of almost a store that pulled its employees from the streets. For tofu and veggies, check out HMart. HMart’s Napa cabbage per unit, for example, is cheaper and bigger than GW. For anything else, there’s Yami, Wee, and a myriad of apps that’ll deliver snacks and whatnot to your door for free. Just do yourself a favor, protect your mood and peace, and avoid this purgatory of a place if you can."
"Authentic “Musang King” from Malaysia. Best durian I had for a long time. Felt like I am back in my hometown."
"One of the Chinese supermarket in Duluth. This place is always busy and full of people. If you want to buy fresh vegetables this is the right place. They are constantly cleaning and replacing old vegetables to new one. You can also buy some can of coconut juice, coffee, Chinese version of energy drink by case which is much cheaper. If you get tired after shopping, make sure to stop by the food court inside of this supermarket. You will be surprised but they have some of the best food in this area, yes including dim sum."
