Lady Envy Tattoo

"I came back to Lady Envy after a wonderful experience with Kelly. She was kind, friendly, and the shop felt welcoming, which I find is a rare experience for a female. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience when getting tattooed by artist and shop owner, Meg. She didn’t greet me when I entered and didn’t offer to get to know me or ask if I had questions. While gettin checked in she read her dream journal aloud as if I wasn’t there. If I hadn’t put down a deposit I would’ve left. I also wasn’t provided after-care instructions. She acknowledged her friend and other clients in the shop, but made no conversation with me. I felt like a bother and inconvenience. This piece was to honor my grandmother. I had it planned for a while so the cold experience was pretty disappointing and upsetting. I’ve been fortunate to get tattooed in many states and countries, and this is easily the worst experience I’ve had at a shop. I will not be making a third trip to Lady Envy. If you’re looking for an artist that is cordial or kind, based on my experience, I highly recommend going to someone other than the owner, Meg."
