"Would not recommend. Sent my son there and also to school there. He got absolutely no help. He was traumatized by actions by adults at the school. Also daughter seen via telephone. Insurance paid part for her telephone visits. Covid. Got a bill 3 years later for 177.00. Really, after insurance paid for a phone call that didn’t provide squat, I was still billed 177.00 3 years later. Do not go here!!!!!!"

"This is a great program. If you have a child who is struggling with different things, the program has the staff who can handle it. Counseling, education , parent education, and structure. There are also rewards for your child when they show good behavior. I have learned different skills to use at home. Sometimes it is hard raising hormonal teenagers. In my experience, the staff has given us support for our child and family. I appreciate them more than i could ever express."

"I have to say in the few short weeks my son has been in the Damous Program he has received nothing but excellent care. He has a wonderful therapist Farria who has went above and beyond to help him. She has truly made a huge impact and difference with him that you can see the light bulb has switched. The teacher of his class has made an impact on him as a role model as well. I am highly recommending Damous Center and Psychological Services due to the impact they have had on my son. The staff has been amazing and helpful. George Damous has been understanding and helpful. I can not speak for all clients or people who have been here, but I am seeing a complete change in how my children reacts to situations around him, dealing with other people, avoiding negative impacts, and how he interacts with us as a family. I am thankful and excited to see his outcome when he graduates the program."

"Please please please do not send your kid here. I went a while back and left with more trauma then I came in with. The staff was verbally abusive towards kids and seemed to enjoy restraining kids and dragging them around. There were multiple instances where I felt unsafe in the environment that was created. I was I'm the class that had Mr Rodney and Mrs Robin and they had no business being in charge of these kids. It seemed like they enjoyed tormenting kids and would yell and berate them for the smallest things. I can't even hear the name Robin without panicking because of the ptsd I have from this "school". Halfway through attending I has attempted to harm myself again and once I got out of inpatient care I got made fun of by ms.robin. the therapist wasn't helpful in the slightest, making my trauma and abuse feel like my fault. Please for the love of God never send your kids here it's a horrible place that shouldn't have any right to treat kids this way."
