"I want to say that i do like staying at this hotel it is for the most part a clean hotel. so the issues i am listing are easy fixes and does not reflect on the peaceful stay here.... Some of the rooms do not have trash cans. there is only 1 wash cloth, so if there is more than one person, you might want to bring your own. The water pressure is not good in some rooms. The lamps need to be updated(you have to wiggle the switch to get them to work)."
"The only positive about the hire is location. Plenty of good around the hotel. Other than that the stay was a nightmare. The first thing I noticed was the lights didn’t work, later I found out there weren’t any light bulb inside the lamps. There were no trash cans in our room so I went to ask the lady at the front desk for a trash can she gave me a sarcastic laugh and sent me on my way without a trash can only trash bags. The toilet leaked from the base all over the bathroom. Roaches and ear bugs were found in the bathroom. The room had less outlets then most rooms. And of the smaller amount of outlets only about half of them actually worked. Refund would be nice.?"
"Love the place But please fix the black girl that works up front to have some manners. Always have an attitude, especially to woman like she's the boss of something. So if the owner is seeing this please fix her"
"The Good: The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with good water pressure, and the air conditioner worked great. The lady at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and at least seemed competent. Also, the motel is really close to the interstate, so it's easy to get the heck away. The Bad: So, so much was bad. First of all, there was no smoke detector in my room, just an empty socket where the smoke detector should have been. I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk in the morning, and it still hadn't been replaced by that evening. That's a serious safety issue that I would expect to be remedied immediately. There was no blackout curtain, and the lights in the parking lot were very, very bright. I'm happy they had good lighting in the parking lot, but it made the room quite bright when I wanted it dark. There were other little things that were missing. My room had no trashcan. My parents were staying in the same motel, and their room had no trashcan. My room had no ice bucket. I also had tiny little Dixie cups instead of more appropriate cups. I had a coffee maker in my room, but I couldn't use it because all I had were little Dixie cups. Fortunately, there was coffee in the lobby. In my parents' room, their door wouldn't lock. You didn't need a key to come into their room, even if they shot the dead bolt. The chain mechanism worked, but they couldn't set that when they weren't in the room. They told the front desk, and they did get moved to a room with a door that locked properly (but the new room lacked a chain lock mechanism). To be fair, the motel was undergoing renovations, but some of the issues above had nothing to do with renovations (like the trashcans and Dixie cups). The lady at the front desk seemed competent, but she might have been the only competent person involved in the operation. I'd take a pass on this place and look for something a little better."
"Not a good place. Room has no blackout curtain and spot light directly outside. Ended up fabricating blackout curtain with construction material in storage area. Breakfast was two cereal choices and weak coffee. Pool was closed and looks to be a legionally breeding ground since full and stagnant. The only upside is I did get a refurbished room which was acceptable. Quality should not be allowed in the name and Choice Hotels should be ashamed to have this under their umbrella."
